Hello, my name is Colin Quigley. I’m currently a 1st-year Human-Computer Interaction graduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park. I design human-centered digital experiences that solve real problems and drive measurable outcomes. My previous work blends user research, interaction design, and product strategy to create intuitive interfaces that respect users’ time and goals. I prioritize clarity, accessibility, and empathy.
I care deeply about understanding people, their contexts, motivations, and constraints. I focus on meaningful metrics (task success, time-on-task, retention) and balance business goals with ethical design practices, ensuring features serve users rather than exploit them.
Outside of work, I’m an avid golfer and amateur photographer who enjoys exploring city streets and hanging out with my cat Simba. I value continuous learning, mentorship, and working with teams that prioritize curiosity, craft, and clear communication.
